We studied the area of Pune Cantonment. Currently, the residents of Pune Cantonments face various civic issues often leading to a confrontation between defense personnel and civil society.
The was conducted to document and analyze the urban issues in cantonment and provide solutions.

Pune cantonment, Maharashtra, India

Pune Cantonment has been established in the year 1817 for accommodation of military troops. Thereafter fresh troops, regiments, batallions including cavalry gradually settled in Pune Cantonment . In 1819, the limits of Pune Cantonment were fixed. With lapse of time, large number of civilians had come to reside in Cantonments.
Timeline
The cantonment started with the setteling of british forces in Pune. Over the years, it grew and civilians also started setteling in the cantonment area.

After studying the cantonment area we identified various problems and gave solutions in the form of a strategy plan, to improve the connectivity inside the cantonment.
