Institutional Housing
The objective was to redevelop a housing project for FTII ( Film and Television Institute of India ). The project integrates the outdoor and indoor spaces, allowing more people to spend time outdoors.
Site Plan
The site is divided into three clusters. 1BHK and 1RK at the entrance, 2 and 3 BHK a the center, and 4 BHK on the eastern side. A large open space is created at the center of the site, allowing easier access to all the people and it remains shaded for most of the time.
Site Section
The height of the structures increases with the contour levels, creating a stepped form.
The buildings are connected at the podium level allowing safe pedestrian circulation, without any vehicular movement.
