Atrium Design - Seasons mall, Pune
The project was to develop an atrium roof for the seasons mall.
The atrium was circular in shape with a diameter of 36m.
The form is developed such that it allows diffused light from the northern side.
Details of Roofing System
Space frame was used for achieving the large span of the roof. The space frame was then clad with GRP (glass reinforced polymer ) panels to provide a smooth curved surface.
Details of Tranparent roof on Northernside
Polycarbonate sheets were used for covering the norther side of the roof. It was supported on HSS framing.
